Ionia Sentinel - Standard
Robert A. Clark, 51, of 124 High died early Saturday morning at Ionia Manor 
following an extended illness.  Born in Lake Odessa, October 22, 1921, he was 
the son of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Clark.  He was a veteran of World War II and 
was employed at Gibson’s of Greenville and previously employed at Process 
Engineers, Inc., at Belding.  He had lived in the Ionia area all his life and 
attended Ionia schools.  In 1968 he was married to the former Janet Clark.

Surviving besides the wife, Janet, are two stepsons, James and Scott Clark, 
stepdaughter, Angla Loveless, three daughters Debra, Janet Marie and Roberta 
Clark, all at home; three sisters, Mrs. Elaine Greenhoe and Mrs. Frances Helmer 
of Ionia, Mrs. Ruth Thacker of Belding.  Funeral arrangements will be announced 
by Myers-Roetman funeral home.
