The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, August 1, 1949
Mrs. Dora A. Clark of Grand Rapids, formerly of Saranac, died Saturday, July 
30, at 11:15 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Blanche Stark of Grand 
Rapids where she had made her home since the death of her husband.  She was 
born in Ohio October 14, 1862.

Surviving are two sons, Carl Evans of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Elery 
Evans.  Funeral services were held Monday from the Morris funeral home at 2 
p.m.  Interment was in Clarksville cemetery.
