Billie was born Jan. 18, 1947, in Belding. She lived in the Belding and Sheridan areas for most of her life, retiring with her husband of 29 years in Lake Panosoffkee, Fla. Billie was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and an active volunteer for the VFW and Moose Lodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mert and Arloa (Sperbeck) Thompson; husband, Gerald “Farmer” Clark; siblings, Gerry, Estella, Danny; and her son, Todd Kimble. Her survivors are her children, Brian (Lori) Kimble, Lowell, Tim (Dawn) Kimble, Ithaca, Robin Dorey and Jerry Siler, Culver Ind., Carri (Tim) Curtis, Mount Pleasant, Barb (Rob) Burns, Stanton, George Clark, Crystal, David Clark, Sidney; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Mert (Carol) Thompson, Gary (Gail) Thompson; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service in honor of Billie’s life will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Stanton American Legion Hall. Those planning an expression of sympathy may make memorial contributions to Woodland Hospice of Mount Pleasant or the American Lung Association in her memory.
