Funeral services for Robert G. Clark of Lansing, who was killed early Thursday 
morning in an automobile accident, were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock 
at the First Christian church with the Rev. Glenn McCarty officiating, 
assisted by the Rev. Court O. Adams.  Organist was Mrs. Mabel Bloomer.

Full military rites were conducted by the AMVETS Post 154, John Leland, post 
commander.  Pallbearers were L. G. Lake, Warrant Weeks, Tony Helderop Jr., 
Henry Mulder, John Hudson and Frank Alfonso.  

Color bearers were Ralph Leland and Carl Seabrook; color guard, Kenneth 
Smalley and Clifton Rhoden; firing squad, Gary Randall, John Gipson, Elwood 
Larson, William Haberstumpf Jr., Earl Borup, Charles Gazella and Robert 
Duell.  The buglers were Jon Davis and Robert Wood.  Tony Helderop Jr., 
presented the flag to the mother, Mrs. Marian Clark.  Interment was in Balcom 
cemetery.

Those from away who attended the services were Mrs. Marian Clark, Jean Ann 
Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grace, Mr. and Mrs. 
Jerry Grace, Irene Gilbert, Dr. and Mrs. E. J. Hermes, William Hermes, Mildred 
Voss, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Schroeder, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Allen, Richard 
O’Hearn, Jerry Ruth, Robert Howes, Mr. and Mrs. George Peterman and family, 
Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Levi, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kelley, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur 
Heinritz, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burhams, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Webb all of 
Lansing; Murvil Grace of Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Clark of Belding; Mr. 
and Mrs. Harold Clark and family of Saranac; Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Clark of 
Sparta; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Grace and Mr. and Mrs. Ed McKon of Detroit, Mr. 
and Mrs. Vern Grace of Carson City and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Graham and son of 
Chippewa Lake.
