Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 24 Mar 1952

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert C. Hall received word Saturday of the death on Thursday,
March 20, of Mrs. Emma Clark of St. Petersburg, Fla., widow of A.L. Clark, who
owned and operated a jewelry store on West Main street, Ionia, for many years. 
She was 81 years old.  She was a member of the Euclid Methodist church and
O.E.S. in St. Petersburg.

Mrs. Clark was the former Emma Whitney, sister of Fred J. Whitney, an Ionia
merchant for many years, who is seriously ill in Ohio where he makes his home
with a nephew.  She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George F. Whitney.

Funeral service and burial were in Florida.
