Clark, 79, retired Belding school teacher and former superintendent of schools 25 years, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Huffman funeral home in Belding. Mr. Clark died Monday at his Belding home. A native of Hillsdale county, Clark was a member of the Belding Central Methodist church, Belding Lodge F&AM, Ionia-Montcalm county Teachers association and the Ferris Institute Society of the Golden Eagles. He attended Ferris, Western Michigan university and studied law at the University of Michigan. He served as superintendent of schools at Cedar Springs, Ada, Manton and Osseo. In 1950 he married Mrs. Belle Campbell who survives. His first wife, Emma Eastman, died in 1948. He is survived by a daughter, two sons, four step-daughters, including Mrs. Paul Outman of Belding and two step-sons including Gene Campbell of Belding. There are also three grandchildren and 12 step-grandchildren.
