Walter L. "Leroy" Clem, 82, of Six Lakes, formerly of Belding, died on Dec. 21, 
2012 at home under the care of his loving family and Hospice. He was born on 
Dec. 5, 1930 in Oatsville, Ind., the son of Orris and Maybel (Walters) Clem.

Following high school, he married and raised a family with his first wife, 
Cecelia Purdy, who preceded him in death in 2006. He then married Bobbie J. 
Dines-Sparks and she survives. Leroy worked in several capacities during his 
lifetime and at the time of his retirement worked in factory transportation for 
a housewares manufacturer.

Leroy will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family, including his 
dear wife, Bobbie; his children, Michael Clem, Cheryl (Bob) Norwood, Ronald 
(Grace) Clem, Shirley Clem; grandchildren, Darrin, Chris, Aaron, Melissa, Ryan, 
Samantha and Katrina; five great-grandchildren; Bobbie's children, Sandra 
(Mike) Blount, Larry (Sharon) Dines, Linda (Jeff) Winters, Tamara (Gary) 
Youngs, Sherrie (Bob) Hughes; and Bobbie's grandchildren and great 
grandchildren; and a sister, Sharon.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at New Life United 
Methodist Church, 6584 Howard City-Edmore Road, Six Lakes, with Pastor John 
Scott officiating. The family will greet visitors from 10 a.m. until the time 
of service. Private interment services are being planned for a later date at 
Entrican Cemetery.
