Thomas E. "Tom" Clemens, Jr., age 55, of rural Rockford, died on Tuesday, 
August 12, 2014 unexpectedly.  Tom was born on August 28, 1958 in Memphis, TN, 
the son of Thomas, Sr. and Karma (Stokes) Clemens.  On June 18, 1983, Tom 
married Jo Anne Fuller and together, they enjoyed 31 years of marriage. 

Tom was a man of many hobbies: he loved taking care of his pond, riding his 
motorcycle, watching sports, loved Colorado and especially spending time with 
his grandchildren.  

Tom is loved and survived by his wife, Jo Anne; his parents, Thomas (Marion) 
Clemens and Karma Clemens; his children, Stephanie Lafayette, Jason (Lleah) 
Simons, Marnie Clemens, Joseph (Cheri) Clemens, Thomas Clemens, III, Timothy 
Clemens, John Clemens, Daniel Clemens; 18 grandchildren, four great-
grandchildren; his siblings, Tami Clemens, Tera (Mark) Carey, Judy (Mark) 
Olesen, Vicki (Eric) Olesen, Darren (Heidi) Slone, Len (Anne) Slone; his 
grandmother, Marion Clemens, along with many other relatives and friends.  He 
was preceded by his grandparents, Kathryn Stokes, Keith Stokes and John 
Clemens. 

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Johnson-
Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Byron Davey officiating.  
Visitation will be on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM, at the funeral home.  Burial 
will take place privately at Forest Home Cemetery in Greenville.  In lieu of 
flowers, memorials may be given to the wishes of the family.  Envelopes will be 
available at the funeral home.
