Ionia Sentinel Standard, 15 May 1962

Mrs. Dora Clement, 90, died at Gerber Memorial hospital in Fremont Monday
afternoon.  She had made her home the past year with her daughter in Fremont and
was hospitalized two weeks.  She was born in Shrewsbury, England, February 27,
1872, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Grove, and came to Ionia in 1899.  She
was married in November 1905 to Ernest Clement and lived in Ionia until his
death in 1947.  Mrs. Clement had been away from Ionia 14 years and previous to
going to Fremont lived with a daughter in Charlotte.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Betty Goodrich of Charlotte and Mrs. Molly
Baddis of Stanton; one brother, Charles Grove of Pontiac, a sister Mrs. Margaret
Paustle of Ionia, and one grandchild.

Funeral service will be at Boynton funeral home Thursday at 2 p.m. with burial
at Highland Park cemetery.
