Long Illness Fatal to Miss Marie Clement

Had Been at Howell for Treatment; Funeral Services to Be Held Sunday.

Miss Marie Clement, 18, daughter of Mrs. Lena Clement, died at the home of her 
mother, 248 Yeomans street, Thursday evening following a long illness with 
tuberculosis.

Miss Clement was a member of the 1926 class of the high school and during the 
past few months she spent part of the time at the Howell sanitarium for 
treatment.  Her father, Perry Clement, died in 1923.

Besides her mother, she leaves her grandmother, Mrs. Shelley, of Pontiac.  Rev. 
Herbert G. Hurrell will officiate at the funeral service which will be held at 
the home Sunday afternoon at 1:30.  The burial will be made in the family lot 
at the Oak Hill cemetery.
