Ionia Sentinel Standard, 6 Nov 1947

Ernest R. Clement, 73, died Thursday morning at 12:40 o’clock at his home in
Ionia township after being ill about two months.  He was born in Fenwick March
11, 1874, and had lived in the farmhouse where he died for 42 years.  His
forty-third wedding anniversary was Sunday, November 2.

Mr. Clement leaves his wife, Dora; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Goodrich of
Charlotte and Mrs. Molly Baddis of Pontiac; one sister, Mrs. Nellie Derry, of
Seattle, Wash.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the
Myers funeral home, with the Rev. Fr. Everett A. Moore officiating.  Interment
will be in Highland Park cemetery.
