Under the careful Christian training of Mr. and Mrs. Murray, who cared for him as their own child, Walter grew to promising young manhood, loved and respected by all. He will be greatly missed by his young associates, and by the Sunday school at Green’s church, (of which he has been a member since he was six years old) and more especially by his own class and teacher. Brother and Sister Murray have the heartfelt sympathy of all in their great affliction. Notwithstanding the busy season and extreme heat a large concourse assembled at the funeral, which was held at Green’s church, July 29. – His S.S.
