Clements, 82, of Orleans, passed away Monday, Feb. 7, 2000, at Spectrum Health East Campus. She was born Aug. 17, 1917, in Belding, the daughter of James and Beatrice Pickard Couzzins. Her father passed away when she was 7 years old, at which time she made her home with Fred and Willia McCue in Belding. She attended Shiloh Community Church and was a member of the Chrysler Lyons Trim Plant retirees. Mildred loved porcelain dolls and enjoyed making dolls and doll clothes. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family. She married Maurice Clements in Orleans Township on Aug. 17, 1934, and he survives along with their children, Sharon (Darryl) Stahl of Orleans, and Terry (Midge) Clements of Grand Ledge; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Clinton Couzzins; and one grandson, Todd Stahl. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at the Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home. Burial will be in Orleans Cemetery. Visitation is today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Memorials may be made to Shiloh Community Church.
