Ionia County News, 21 Jan 1937

Rev. Thomas Clemons died Tuesday morning, January 19, at his home, 456 King 
Street.  He was born in Canada 77 years ago and had been a resident of Ionia 
for the past 10 years.  For 44 years he had been a minister, the past 21 years 
of his ministry were with the Church of the Nazarene.

Surviving relatives are his widow, Mrs. Clara B. Clemons, Ionia, a daughter, 
Mrs. Edith Zank and four grandchildren, Cedar Springs; a sister, Mrs. John 
Bunting, of Appleton, Wis.

Mr. Clemons was taken to the home of his daughter in Cedar Springs, Wednesday 
afternoon and the funeral will be from the Cedar Springs Free Methodist church 
at 2:30 Thursday afternoon, January 21.  Mrs. Clemons is very ill at the home 
on King Street.
