Mr. Clemons was a young man, only 22 years of age and had been suffering for several weeks from typhoid fever to which was added the fact that he had been troubled for some time with brain and nervous disorders. He was a graduate of the Belding high school and would have made a bright young man had he retained his health. He was a son of the late Julius Clemons and was born in Massachusetts. He leaves a stepmother and a half sister. The funeral services were held Monday, Rev. Carman officiating in the absence of the pastor of the Baptist church, and the burial took place in the River Ridge cemetery.
