Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2 & 3 Feb 1923

Samuel A. Cliff, Aged 68, Dead At Adams Street Home

Samuel A. Cliff, age 68, passed away Thursday evening at 9:30 at the family
residence, 334 East Adams street.  Mr. Cliff had been in failing health for some
time.

Besides his widow, Mr. Cliff leaves seven children, Mrs. Lillie Somerville, of
Boyne City; Mrs. Mayne Phillips, of Dewitt; Mrs. William Hayes, of Rushville,
Ind.; Mrs. Rhoda Waldron, of Ionia; Mrs. Marie Banz_n, of Charlevoix, and Miss
Edna Cliff and Harold Cliff, both at home.

Funeral announcement will be made later.

The funeral for Samuel Cliff will be held from the residence, 334 Adams street,
Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Burial will take place in Highland Park cemetery.
