The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Friday, July 24, 1964

Harry Clifford, 88, of route one, Sheridan, died early Friday morning at 
Carson City hospital.  He had been a farmer all his life and a resident of 
Bloomer township in Montcalm county since 1941.  He previously resided in 
Sidney, Sheridan and Orleans areas.  Mr. Clifford was married in 1905 to 
Minnie Knight who died in January 1953.

He is survived by two sons, Raymond Clifford of Ionia and Lloyd of route one, 
Sheridan; two brothers, Vern Clifford of rural Ionia and Elisha Clifford of 
Belding; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral service will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan 
with interment at Palo cemetery.  Bearers will be Kenneth Dopp, Charles 
LaBarr, Orin Arginsinger, Morris Reeder, Ted Blanchard and Dick Burns.  
Officiating will be the Rev. W. W. Hall, pastor of First Congregational church 
at Sheridan.
