At the age of ten years he came to Michigan with his parents and three brothers, with horses and wagon arriving at the farm in Ionia county where he has since resided on July 4, 1855. He was married to Amy J. Savercool March 21, 1873, to the union of which was born seven daughters and three sons, one daughter dying in infancy and a son who was struck by lightning July 4, 1908. Besides the members of his immediate family he leaves to mourn his loss three sisters, two brothers, a host of friends and acquaintances. He had a stroke of paralysis Nov. 1, 1906 from which he has since been a constant sufferer. Dearest father, how we'll miss you There will be that vacant chair, But we know you're free from suffering, And you're resting peaceful there. The funeral of Millimon Clifford was held in Banner Grange hall on Monday, Dec. 2, at 1 pm. Rev. E. E. Branch of Ionia officiating. The singing was by Mrs. Geo. Thayer and Mrs. Fred Bluemly. The casket was covered with beautiful flowers.
