Clum, 41, of Cadillac, was found dead in the woods 20 miles west of Cadillac Sunday afternoon by hunters. He had been missing since July 6. Mr. Clum was born at Hastings April 10, 1929, the older son of Victor S. and Dorothy (Darby) Clum. He graduated from the Lake Odessa High School with the class of 1947 and married Bernice V. Hesterley May 23, 1947. He was employed at the Union Bank for 20 years before joining the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as a bank examiner in 1967 n the Cadillas district. He was a member of the Pleasant Lake Baptist Church in Cadillac. Mr. Clum is survived by his wife, Bernice V.; three sons, Jerry of Grand Rapids, Donald of Dowagiac and Robert of Cadillac; two daughters, Sharon of Grand Rapids and Barbara at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor S. Clum of Lake Odessa; a sister, Mrs. Leonard (Marjorie) McMillen of Ilimna, Alaske; a brother, Voight of Anchorage, Alaska, and his maternal grandfather, Charles Darby of Lake Odessa. Services were conducted Wednesday at 11;30 at the Pickens Chapel in Lake Odessa, with Rev. Bert Gardner and Rev. Charles Price officiating. Interment was in Lakeside Cemetery.
