                                  OBITUARY

Christina K. Clum was born on October 7, 1875 in Woodland Township, Barry 
county, Michigan. She was the daughter of John and Mary Summ and lived 
practically all her life on farms in Barry and Ionia Counties.

She was married to Lewis Clum of Woodland township on January 26, 1897, Mr. 
Clum died just two years ago June 3. Mother Clum passed away at Pennock Hospital 
on May 24, at 9:30 p.m. She leaves to mourn her loss two daughters, Mrs.Benta 
Miller of Clarksville, Mrs. Arvilla Bolton o Hastings, a son Victor S. of Lake 
Odessa, seven grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, three sisters Mrs.Minnie 
Gerlinger, Mrs.Clara Sears and Mrs.Anna Gerlinger, all of Hastings, and a host 
of relatives and friends. She has been a faithful member of the Grace Brethren 
Church for the past 48 years.

She was a most kind, loving and thoughtful mother and friend. Each day she 
lived, she lived for others, putting her trust in her heavenly Father, who 
helped her bear her Cross to bravely and always with a smile.

"Trusting Jesus, that is all"
Simply trusting every day, 
Trusting through a stormy way.
Even when my faith is small, 
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Brightly doth his spirit shine,
Into this poor heart of mine;
While He leads I cannot fall, 
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Singing if my way is clear,
Praying if the path is drear;
If in danger, for Him call,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting Him While life shall last,
Trusting Him till life is past;
Till within the Jasper Wall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
