Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Feb 1948

Hazel Reed Clunie, a former resident of Palo, died at Hondo, Calif., February 12.

Mrs. Clunie was born in Grand Rapids, April 24, 1893.  She resided in Palo for
20 years, and at one time ran a millinery store there.  She had been an invalid
for seven years prior to her death.

She is survived by her sister, Mrs. Frank Fleisher, of Fenwick route 1, three
nephews and a niece.

Burial was in California.
