Jane Coats Passes Away

Mrs. Jane Coats, 79, route 1, Dowling, passed away Sunday night at Pennock 
Hospital, Hastings, shortly after admittance. She was born January 18, 1891 in 
Okla. the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Endsley and was a former Woodland 
resident. She married George Coats in 1959 and he passed away in November, 1987.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Adam (Martha) Fender of Lacey and Mrs. Dareld 
(Rosie) Cunningham of Charlotte; four sons, Rex Fenstemaker of Clarkston, 
Stanley of Wyoming, Emery of Lansing and James of Hastings; 21 grand children; 7 
great grandchildren and a brother, Hamilton Endsley of Orlando, Florida. Funeral 
services were held on Wednesday at Pickens Funeral Chapel, Rev. Harold Price 
officiated with burial in Woodland Memorial Park.
