Excerpts from Online Obituary
MRS. A COBB DIED SOON AFTER GRAND TRUNK TRAIN HITS MACHINE AT SARANAC
Susie E. (Devine) Cobb
Died October 10, 1920- age 17
Susie E. Devine & Allen Kimbell Cobb married September 6, 1920. 
Was bride of five weeks-Husband seriously injured-car smashed to bits. 
Mr and Mrs Cobb were struck by a west-bound Grand trunk freight train at the 
main crossing in Saranac Sunday afternoon about 4 o'clock. 
Susie died 2 hours later, Mr Cobb was in semi-conscience condition, not 
realizing what was happening.
The crossing is a blind one and in both directions a view of the track is 
obstructed.
The funeral for Mrs Cobb will be Wednesday at 2 o'clock at the Congregational 
Church with Rev. Colgrove officiating. Burial in Saranac Cemetery.
