COBB

Doris B.Cobb, age 92 of Ionia passed away April 29, 2022 at her home.She was 
born December 13, 1929 in Mulliken the daughter of Kenneth and Hazel (Heart) 
Butler.

Doris married Larry Cobb June 30, 1989, he preceded her in death April 9, 2022.

She volunteered at the Ionia Hospital and the Ionia Manor for many years.Doris 
loved Needle Point, Bingo and Animals especially Frankie. She was known by her 
family to have a great sense of humor and she will be missed.

Surviving are her children; Judy (Scott) Essenburg of Holland, Carl (Jim) Vaughn 
of Toledo, Oh, Kenneth (Lori) Gustafson of Ionia,Tamara Pierce of Ionia, Iva 
(Andy) Manning of Ionia and Sandy (Jeff)Rogers of Saranac. Step-children; Debra 
(Elwin) Hall of Ionia, Theresa Menichino of Holland, Curt (Cindy) Cobb of Cedar 
Springs, Brenda Cobb of Holland, Brian (Cheryl) Cobb of Ionia and Kris Cobb of 
Ionia. Several grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Lynn Gustafson; 3 brothers, 
Ronald Butler, Keith Butler, and Robert Butler and sister, JoAnn Smith.

Funeral services for Doris was held at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia, Tuesday, 
May 3, 2022 at 2:00 p.m with Chaplain Tom Stone officiating. There was a 
visitation on Tuesday from Noon until the time of services at the Funeral Home.
