                       LONG ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS.KNOTT COBB

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 at Boynton Funeral Chapel in Ionia 
for Mrs. Cobb, 60, who passed away Tuesday at 12:30 at the home of her son-in-
law and daughter, Mr.and Mrs. Phil Ansorge in Grand Rapids.

As Mamie DeYoung, she was born in Grand Rapids and she was married to Knott Cobb 
in 1914. The couple lived in Belding for several years, then moving to Ionia 
were resident there for 17 years. Her health first began to fail 12 years ago 
and they spent several winters in Florida, but the  change did not seem to 
improve her health, although they had lived there in Fort Meyers Beach for the 
past two years. August fist they made the trip back to Grand Rapids by auto and 
she gradually failed until the end.

Surviving are the husband, Knott, and two daughters, Calla Ansorge of Grand 
Rapids and Mrs.Dorothy Rittenburg of Rochester,N.Y. and four grandchildren. 
Interment will be in the Mausoleum at River Ridge Cemetery on Friday.
