An avid outdoorsman, Allen loved to do just about anything that let him be out in nature. Whether he was working on the farm, golfing, or trying to catching fish, which was his biggest passion, Allen enjoyed being outside. The only thing he liked more was when he got to be outside with his grandkids., who he deeply loved. Allen proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and served during the Gulf War, was a 1984 graduate of Pewamo-Westphalia Community Schools, he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Ionia. Surviving Allen is his wife, Mary Coble of Ionia; daughters, Samantha Coble (Matt Blumberg) of Stanton; Chelsey Coble of Ionia; son, Chris (Corrine) Coble of Ionia; grandchildren, Ryan, Brice, Bentley and Brayden. Allen is also survived by his mother-in-law, Nancy Wizorek of Ionia; his sisters, Pat (Butch) Kline of Eagle; Martha (Tony) Schmitz of Pewamo; brothers, Mark Coble of Columbus, Nebraska; Dennis Coble of Eagle; Brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Andy and Duane Wizorek of McBride; Phil and Sue Wizorek of Ionia; Thersa and Neil Wizorek-MacIntyre of Syracuse, New York, Christine and Jarrod Paseka of St. Johns; his beloved dogs, Buttercup & Buster and his cats, Tigger & Alvin. Allen is preceded in death by his dad and step-mom, Cletis & Mayble Coble as well as his mother, Joyce Lombard. A Celebration of Allen's life is being held on Sunday, October 7, 2018 beginning at 3 p.m. at St. Peter and Paul Apostles hall in Ionia (434 High Street) For those wishing to make a memorial donation in Allen's memory the family asks you direct them to the Wounded Warriors Project.
