Donald J. Coe, age 79, of Ionia passed away Sunday, March 27, 2005 in Ionia.  
He was born April 13, 1925 in Ionia the son of Glenn W. and Luella Coe.

He attended and graduated from Ionia High School.  Donald worked in California 
for Lockheed Aviation as an Aeronautical Engineer.  He worked at Coe Cycle 
Sales in Ionia with his brother Gaylord as a mechanic and at Fisher Body.

He is survived by his nephew James A. Coe of Ionia, David L. Coe of Ionia, Gary 
W. Coe of Holt; great nephews and nieces Gregory Coe, Michael Coe, Madelynn 
Coe, Alexandria Coe and Jason Coe.  He was a W.W.II Veteran of the Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Gaylord and sister 
Nevene.  Cremation has taken place at his request and private services will be 
held at a later date.  A memorial contribution may be made in his name to Ionia 
Commission on Aging.
