Portland Observer, 1 Mar 1923

Alfred Coe, age 64 years, prominent and well known farmer of Danby township, 
passed away at his farm home, Tuesday, after an illness of over two years which 
was caused by a stroke of paralysis.

Besides the widow he is survived by two daughters, Gladys and Clarice.  Funeral 
services were held today at the Sebewa Baptist church.  Burial was made in the 
Sebewa cemetery.
