Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Aug 1968

Mrs. Lydia Elizabeth Coe, 83, of route 2, Portland, died Tuesday evening at
Ionia Manor where she had been a patient the past two years.  She was born June
3, 1885 in New Windsor, Ill., and a member of the Baptist Church.

Surviving are one daughter Mrs. Harold Allen of Coopersville, son Howard of
Portland, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, brother, Carter Stroud of
Tustin.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Neller funeral home in Portland
with Rev. Maurice Christenson officiating.  Burial will be at Portland cemetery.
