Cartland Officiates. One of the largest attended funerals of this year was that of Wayne Coe, son of Mr and Mrs George Coe of Sebewa. The friends could not all get inside the church although every effort was made to provide for all, especially as the day was a rainy one. The attendance of the Lake Odessa Odd Fellows as well as the many others showed the esteem in which the deceased was held. Both his nurse and his doctor were in attendance. Rev. A.T. Cartland gave the address, Mr and Mrs R.W. Goodemoot accompanied by Miss Helen Goodsell furnished the songs. Burial was in the cemetery just back of the church. OBITUARY Judson Wayne Coe, son of Mr and Mrs George W. Coe, was born March 8, 1906, in Sebewa township and departed this life April 12, 1933, at the age of 32 years, one month and four days. He was a quiet home loving boy who made many friends and will be greatly missed in his home and in the community. He was a member of the Lake Odessa IOOF number 129 several years. He is survived by a sorrowing father and mother, and twos sisters, Mrs Leona Westbrook of Ionia and Marian at home and a host of relatives and friends. I can not say, and I will not say That he is dead. He is just away. With a cheery smile and a wave of hand He has wandered into an unknown land. And let us dream very fair If needs must be since he lingers there. And you, oh you, who wouldest yearn For the old time and the glad return, Think of him faring on, as dear In the love of There as the love of Here. Card of Thanks We wish to express our sincere thanks to the neighbors, friends, Community club IOOF, singers, M.E. church, and Rev. Cartland for comforting words and all those who have so kindly assisted us in our recent bereavement. Mr and Mrs George W. Coe and Marian, Mr and Mrs Mark Westbrook and family.
