Ionia Standard, 23 Mar 1888

Mrs. Maria Colby died in Chicago last Sunday at 6 o’clock p.m. aged 73.  She was
the mother of Mr. A.H. Colby, and Mrs. M.S. Peck, of this village.  The remains
were brought here for interment.

[Transcriber Note:  There are notations on the obituary card that her husband
was Rev. Harrison Colby, and she was buried in Hubbardston Westside Cemetery.]
