Donnabelle Cole, 76, of 2096 N. State Road, Ionia, passed away today, May 22, 
2003 at her home.  She was born February 9, 1927 in Stanton, to Clarence and 
Ethel Hallock Williams.

Mrs. Cole was a longtime resident of Ionia and retired from General Tire in 
Ionia.  She was a member of the Stanton American Legion Auxiliary.  In 
addition, she enjoyed music, her cats, and spending time with her family and 
friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.  She 
is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Rollie Teachworth of 
Blanchard; two grandchildren, Tracey and Chad Gibson of Cincinnati, Ohio, Holly 
and John Ball of Fowlerville; great-granddaughter, Rebecca Ball; sister and 
brother-in-law, Ruth and Ed Shepherd of Six Lakes; and several nieces and 
nephews.  She will be especially missed by the Butler family.  

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Stebbins and Simpson Funeral Home, 
Sheridan, with the Rev. Rolla Timmons officiating.  Interment is in Forest Hill 
Cemetery.  Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
