                              Douglas A.Cole Sr.

Douglas A. Cole Sr.,67, of Lansing, died June 20,2008.

He was born Dec.24, 1940 in Lansing. The greatest husband and dad went to sleep 
on June 20, 2008 and is awaiting his resurrection. Doug was an avid musician and 
loved to play the organ for anyone who would listen., as well as guitar for 50 
years. He loved puttering in his workshop and is woodworking gifts he gave will 
be cherished forever.He touched the heart of all of those who knew him and will 
be deeply missed.We look forward to seeing him again.

He was preceded in death by his parents,Marjorie and Bernard Cole; daughter, 
Cindy; and two special friends, Lafe and Esther Coe.

Surviving are his loving wife of 40 years, Liz; daughters, Shawn (Aaron Smith), 
Carrie Cole, and Kim (Dan Lowery) Sons,Robert, Doug Jr., Chris Cole and David 
Hartsuff; severn grandsons; six granddaughters; one great-grandson; his special 
four-legged friend,Missy; brother, Basil(Nancy) sisters,Pat (Don Hiatt),Shirley 
(Donald Bessette) and Janet (Ivan Harris); and many nieces and nephews.

The memorial service was held June 28 at the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall-
Waverly Congregation, 2730 Delta River  Drive, Lansing. Arrangements wre 
entrusted to the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Hospice of Lansing, 
6035 Executive Drive, Ste.103, Lansing,MI 48911 or Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall-
Waverly Congregation in memory of Doug Cole.
