Coleman, 63, of Kentwood, passed away Friday evening, Nov. 15, 2002, at Metropolitan Hospital, Grand Rapids. She was born Aug. 12, 1939, in Belding, the daughter of William and Pearl Clark Coleman. She was an active member of Reconciliation Metropolitan Community Church in Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Coleman; sisters, Othela Shawley, Lorraine Chickering; brothers, Nathan “Bud” Coleman, Kenneth Coleman, Richard Coleman. She is survived by her life-mate of 18 years, Frances Wilson of Kentwood; son Patrick Larson of Greenville, who Judy was reunited with after 40 years of being apart; sister and brother and their spouses, Jeannette and Charles Strouse of Clare, James and Lucy Coleman of Stanton; grandchildren, Jenna and Christopher; many nieces and nephews. Memorial services are 3 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding, with Pastor Linda Stoner of Reconciliation Metropolitan Community Church, Grand Rapids, officiating. Interment is in River Ridge Cemetery, Belding. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
