World War I Veteran Died yesterday January 23, 1961-age 72 at Veteran's Facility Castle Point, NY. Born April 11, 1888 at Roxton, Canada. Son of the late William and Mary Vincent Coleman. Educated in Ionia, MI, a resident of Fishkill since 1935, formerly resided in Beldon, MI and Jacksonville, VT. Married Alice Louise (Beekman) March 1911, at Providence, RI, Preceded in death by wife, Alice, on April 1, 1951. Charles retired 1953 being employed by Beacon Piece and Dye Works for 15 years. Survived by four daughters, Mrs Richard Hill, Guilfard, Conn; Mrs Edward Litke, & Mrs Frank Evans of Beacon, Mrs Bernard Kozia, of Fishkill; two sons, William F. Coleman and Ronald Coleman of Glenham; a sister, Mrs Perry Traver of Beacon; six brothers, Edward, John and George of Leominster, Mass., Frederick, James and Joseph of Jacksonville, VT; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services at 11 AM Friday at the Robert Auchmoody Funeral Home, Fishkill. Rev. Robert A. Pollard will officiate. Burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
