The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, July 2, 1928

Roland Collar, aged 25, formerly of South Boston, died at his home in 
Greenville, W. Va. Saturday from injuries he received two weeks ago in an 
automobile accident.  

Mr. Collar moved from South Boston several years ago with his parents, Mrs. 
and Mrs. Ernest Collar, to Grand Rapids, and later he entered the ministry for 
the Baptist denomination.

The funeral services will be held in Grand Rapids some time Thursday, although 
definite arrangements have not been completed.

Mr. Collar leaves his wife, a Grand Rapids girl; a three-year-old daughter, of 
Greenfield; his parents and three sisters, Mrs. Bethel Clark, Mrs. Ruth George 
and Miss Evelyn Collar, all of Grand Rapids; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. P. 
C. Freeman, of Lowell.
