Former Resident Here Takes Own Life at Resort

Mrs. Robert Collard, 46, whose body was found floating in about 18 inches of
water in Crystal Lake, Crystal, Sunday morning, was a former resident of this
city, when as Helen Christensen, she worked in the silk mills here, and her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Christensen, lived on a farm near here.

She is survived by her father, her husband, two daughters, one son, three
sisters and six brothers, one of them being Ralph Christensen who lives
southeast of this city.

She and her husband were occupying a cottage at the lake but he had left on
Saturday for Lansing.

Funeral services were held at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan Wednesday, Rev.
H.S. Ellis officiating and burial was in Fairplains cemetery.
