Hastings Reminder - 2011
Charlotte (Petrie) Collier, age 90, of Lake Odessa, went to be with her Lord 
and Savior on Tuesday evening, October 11, 2011 at Woodlawn Meadows, Hastings.



She was born August 27, 1921, the daughter of Ray and Anna (Brooks) Petrie. She 
was born and lived in the same home in the Sunfield area until her marriage to 
Jerene Collier in 1950.



She attended Sunfield High School graduating in 1939. She attended two years at 
Bible School in Chicago. After marriage, she worked at Keeler Brass for 32 
years. 



Charlotte was a member of the Sebewa Methodist Church until 1950 and 
transferred to Calvary United Brethren in Lake Odessa and more importantly, she 
has been a member of God's family since 14 years of age. 



She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, brother and sisters.



Charlotte is survived by several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services were conducted on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Koops Funeral 
Chapel - Lake Odessa. Interment followed at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.



Memorial contributions in Charlotte's name may be directed to American Bible 
Society or the charity of one's choice.
