Mina B. Collier Passed Away

Mrs. Mina B. Collier, 76, passed away Tuesday night at the Eaton County Medical
Center at Charlotte following a long illness.  She had been a patient at the
Center since last December.

She was born in Ontario, Wis., August 24, 1892, daughter of William and Frances
Gilbert, and came to the Fruitport, Mich., area when a young girl.  She married
Ervin Collier October 16, 1915, and had been a resident of the Sunfield and Lake
Odessa area for many years.  Mr. Collier passed away November 3, 1966.  Mrs.
Collier attended the EUB  Church and was a member of the Martha Group of the
church.

Surviving are two sons, Jerene of Lake Odessa and Plynn of Kalamazoo; a
daughter, Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Munson of Kalamazoo; six grandchildren; one
great-grandson and three sisters, Miss Meda Gilbert and Mrs. Daisy Devenport,
both of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Berda Packer of Mulliken; nieces and nephews. 

Mrs. Collier reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, where funeral services will
be held at 11 a.m. Friday.  Rev. Norman Wibert will officiate with burial in
Lakeside Cemetery.
