The Ionia Standard, Friday, May 5, 1911
Jacob Collinghan, who resided at Sebewa Corners until six weeks ago, died at 
the home of his daughter, Mrs. Oliver Smith, in Danby, Tuesday evening of last 
week, and funeral services were held Friday, burial being in Danby cemetery.  
He was a veteran of the civil war.  Mr. Smith, who was serving as a juror in 
the Ionia circuit court at the time, was excused for the term on account of 
his father-in-law’s death.
