To this union were born eight children, three preceded her to the spirit land, Mrs. Smurr, Clara C. and Ida. Mrs. Collins died in Franklin township, DeKalb County, Ind., Nov. 19, 1905; aged 73 years, 11 mos. and 3 days. She leaves to mourn their loss a kind husband, four sons and one daughter, Lucius D., George B., Floyd, Oliver and Miss Dora Dannells. She was a member of a large family, thirteen children, five survive her, Mrs. Ann Bell of Waterloo, Mrs. Marion Reys of Summit, Ind., Jonathan Crays of Burton, Kan., Mrs. Margaret Easler of Edgerton, Ohio, Mrs. Lucinda Lenehart of Neb., and other relatives. She united with the M. E. church when a youth and lived a consistent Christian life until called home.
