Sentinel-Standard Wednesday Aug. 9, 1950

Earl Collins, 72, of Fenwick died at his home about midnight Monday. He had 
been in failing health after suffering a heart attack several months ago.

He was born March 25, 177, the son of Jud and Alice Comstock Collins. He was a 
farmer and lived on the same place all his life. He lived alone after the death 
of his parents a number of years ago. For several weeks his sister-in-law, Mrs. 
Anna Collins of Sheridan cared for him.

Surviving are one brother, Kenneth Collins, and a sister-in-law.
After prayer services at Stebbins funeral home in Sheridan, the body will be 
taken to Shanty Plains church for the funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday. 
Interment will be in the family lot, Clear Lake cemetery.

Mrs. Merle Steele, North street, is a niece of the deceased.
