Ionia Sentinel, 10 Jan 1873

Eli Colton, an old resident of Easton, and one of its most respected citizens,
died on Tuesday, in the seventy-second year of his age.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.]
