Ionia Daily Standard - Monday, March 27, 1922

                      SUDDEN DEATH CALLS YOUNG EASTON MOTHER
     Mrs. William Colwell Victim of heart Diseases; Leaves Four Small Children.

Eva M. Colwell, aged 29, the mother of four small children died suddenly Sunday 
morning at her home northeast of Saranac. She was the wife of William Colwell 
well-known Easton farmer.

Mrs. Colwell, although she has not been strong, has enjoyed good health. Sunday 
morning she performed the duties of her homework as usual but a little later 
complained of dizziness and was forced to lie down. Within a short time she was 
dead before a physician could arrive. Heart disease is said to have been the 
cause of death. Besides her husband she leaves four children from one to eight 
years in age. The funeral will be held from the home of her father, Judson 
Barger, at Saranac, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock.
