The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 20, 1934

Funeral services for Mary J. Combs whose death occurred Friday morning were 
held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Norman Galloway, in Berlin township, 
Monday afternoon.  Rev. J. M. Jenson, of the LeValley church conducted the 
services which were largely attended by relatives and friends.  Bearers were 
Guy Harwood, Lyman Simmons, Jay Harwood, Hugh Galloway, Willard Durkee, and 
Myron Nichols.  Interment was held at the Balcom cemetery.
