He had suffered a stroke of paralysis, although hemorrhage of the bowels is given as cause of death. Funeral services were conducted from Catholic Church Thursday morning. Deceased was born in Ireland but came here from Massachusetts and for many years was engaged in shoemaking, both as maker of new work and cobbling. He is survived by a number of children, but most of them live at a distance, Mrs. Peter Ward of Sebewa and Mrs. J. H. Palmer of Sunfield being the one ones present at the burial.
