The Ionia Standard, Friday, February 10, 1888

Lewis Compton, aged about twenty, died very suddenly at the Union hotel last 
week.  He was lying down on a couch in the afternoon and died without warning, 
from heart disease.  He had recently arrived here from New York with his 
father.
