The Belding Banner, Wednesday, December 16, 1914

The funeral of Henry Compton was held at his home on Wednesday last, the 
Masonic order officiating.  Mr. Compton was in the meat market business with 
his brother-in-law, Herman Houserman, and Mr. Houserman will now carry on the 
business with Mrs. Henry Compton as his business partner much to everybody’s 
satisfaction.
