The Ionia Standard, Friday, May 21, 1886

The funeral of Mrs. Eugene Comstock, who died last week at Edmore, was held 
Monday.  The services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Jacokes, and were largely 
attended.  The deceased was married to Mr. Comstock last September, and was 
the only child of loving parents, who live in Minnesota.  It seems truly sad 
that one so young and full of youthful vigor, should be called; yet God knows 
best what is for our good.
