The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, March 5, 1974

Mrs. Helen M. Comstock, 90, of route 1, Fenwick, died Sunday at Christiansen 
nursing home in Greenville.  Born April 19, 1883, at Six Lakes, she was the 
daughter of John and Augusta Anderson and a lifelong resident of the Fenwick 
area.  In 1905 she was married to Guy Comstock who died in 1966.

A member of the Palo United Methodist church she also belonged to the Palo 
Order of Eastern Star, Ronald Willing Workers of Ronald township.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Marble of Fenwick; granddaughter; 
sister, Mrs. Mabel Walddorff of Six Lakes; four brothers, Roy Anderson of 
Battle Creek, Louis Large and Edward Large of Six Lakes and Jennings Large of 
Greenville.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Stebbins and Simpson 
funeral home of Sheridan.  Rev. John Gurnee will officiate and interment will 
be at Palo cemetery.  Visitation hours at the funeral home are from 7 to 8:30 
p.m.
